Privacy policy

Salt of the Earth Center for Healing, LLC runs this website. This page says what we collect when you visit, which is very little, and what we do with it.

What this site collects

Nothing you type. The site has no forms, no comments, no accounts and no newsletter sign-up. There is nowhere on it to enter your name, email or card details.

Server logs. Like every website, ours records the address of each visitor’s connection, the pages they open and the browser they use. Our hosting company, GreenGeeks, keeps these logs for security and to keep the site running. We do not use them to identify you.

Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies in your browser and sends Google the pages you open, roughly where in the world you are, and what browser and device you use. We see totals, not people: we cannot tell who you are from it, and we do not try. Google may use the data as described at google.com/policies/privacy/partners. To opt out, install Google’s browser add-on or turn off cookies in your browser; the site works either way.

Nothing else tracks you. We run no advertising trackers and no social media pixels, and we sell nothing to anyone.

Booking and gift certificates

When you book a session or buy a gift certificate, you leave our site and use Booker, a booking service run by Mindbody. Booker collects your name, contact details and payment information under its own privacy policy, which you can read at mindbodyonline.com. We see the booking details we need to run your appointment, and we keep them in that system.

Links to other sites

The site links to our Facebook and Instagram pages and to the sources behind our research page. Those sites have their own privacy policies, and what you do there is between you and them.

Children

The site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 13.

Your choices

Changes

If we add anything to the site that collects information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
